The Arctic Fox (Vulpes lagopus), also known as the White Fox or Snow Fox, is a small fox native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Adapted to live in some of the most frigid environments on Earth, the Arctic Fox has a thick, warm coat that changes color with the seasons, providing camouflage against predators and prey. This resilient species plays a critical role in the Arctic ecosystem but faces numerous challenges due to climate change and human activities.
