Chapman's Pygmy Chameleon (Rhampholeon chapmanorum) is a small critically endangered reptile species found in the montane forests of Malawi. It is estimated that an 80% reduction in population size since the 1980s has happened and is still decreasing. The main threats to Chapman's Pygmy Chameleon include habitat destruction due to deforestation, agricultural expansion, and illegal collection for the pet trade. Climate change and wildfires in their habitat also pose additional risks to their survival.
