The Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin (Sousa chinensis), also known as Chinese White Dolphin, is an endangered marine mammal species found in the coastal waters of Southeast Asia. The estimated remaining population is uncertain but is under threat from habitat loss, water pollution, overfishing, and entanglement in fishing gear. Conservation efforts involve the establishment of protected areas, reduction of pollution and habitat degradation, and implementing measures to reduce the impacts of fisheries on the species.
