The Arabian Oryx is a medium-sized antelope known for its striking white coat with black markings on the face, legs, and along the throat. Both males and females have long, straight horns that can grow up to 75 cm (30 inches). Adapted to desert life, the Arabian Oryx can go for extended periods without water and is active mainly during cooler hours. It typically measures 80–100 cm (31–39 inches) at the shoulder and weighs between 70–100 kg (154–220 lbs). The Arabian Oryx is a grazer, feeding on grasses, herbs, roots, and occasionally fruits, playing a significant ecological role in desert ecosystems.
