The Aceh Bulbul is a medium-sized songbird, measuring around 7 inches (18 cm) in length. It is known for its olive-brown upperparts, yellow underparts, and a distinctive white throat patch. The species inhabits lowland and montane rainforests, where it feeds primarily on fruits, berries, and insects. The bird is arboreal and spends much of its time in the forest canopy. Its vocalizations are characterized by a series of melodious, high-pitched notes, typical of bulbul species. The Aceh Bulbul is rarely seen due to its remote habitat in northern Sumatra, and its limited distribution makes it vulnerable to habitat destruction.
