The Grupo Puntacana Foundation, established nearly 30 years ago, is a leading nonprofit organization in the Dominican Republic dedicated to sustainable development in the eastern region of the country. The Foundation's mission is to protect and preserve the natural resources of Punta Cana and create opportunities that enhance the well-being of local communities. Recognizing the vital role of nature and people in Caribbean tourism, the Foundation collaborates with strategic partners from the private sector, public sector, and civil society to tackle social and environmental challenges. Key focus areas include education, health, coral reef restoration, endangered species conservation, community entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, solid waste management, and ecotourism.
