Pandrillus, established in 1988 by Liza Gadsby and Peter Jenkins, is dedicated to conserving drills and other wildlife in Nigeria and Cameroon. Initially focused on preventing the extinction of the endangered drill monkey Mandrillus leucophaeus, the mission has expanded to include chimpanzees and other species in the Cross-Sanaga region. Pandrillus employs a multifaceted approach involving habitat protection, captive care, breeding, research, training, education, and advocacy, collaborating with governments, communities, NGOs, and the private sector. Registered as a non-profit in both Nigeria and the USA, Pandrillus continues to champion wildlife conservation.
